Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Track
Course Flow

About This Track

The courses included in the Windows NT 4.0 Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Track are combined lecture and hands-on lab delivery format using Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC). The courses are designed to help you learn Microsoft technologies while additionally helping to prepare you for Microsoft certification.

The combined amount of contact time to finish this track is 24 or 26 days (spread over six weeks). The number of days depends on the electives (see below).

Taking Exams and Getting Certified

To become Microsoft Certified, candidates must pass exams administered by Sylvan Prometric. Exams are not included with these courses. Click here to see the actual exam list that corresponds to this track.

 

All 4 of the Following Core Courses are Required:

• SP Microsoft Networking Essentials
• 803 Administering Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
• 922 Supporting Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server - Core Technologies
• 689 Supporting Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Enterprise Technologies
 
Plus, 2 Electives are Required
• 688 Internetworking with Microsoft TCP/IP on Windows NT 4.0
And one of the following,
• 836 Secure Web Access Using Microsoft Proxy Server 2.0 (sets course total to 24 days)
Or,
• 832 Administering Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 (sets course total to 26 days)
