Axian adds software development expert Sue Gabriel to its staff
Sue Gabriel's broad industry experience provides clients a valuable resource for outsourcing development

Portland, Ore.—February 25, 2002—Axian announced today that it recently hired Sue Gabriel as software project manager and senior developer. Gabriel will use her extensive industry experience to develop products and support and then successfully transfer them to clients, consistent with Axian's goal to enable client self-sufficiency.

Axian provides software consulting, contracting and educational services to clients who use or manufacture computer systems and electronics. Unique in its ability to architect, develop and integrate across a broad range of technologies, Axian chooses its new employees carefully to fill niches or broaden the scope of its services. Gabriel's extensive experience specifying, designing, implementing, testing and documenting software solutions will provide Axian clients a strong resource for developing software on an outsource basis.

Gabriel has more than 20 years of experience in software development, compiling an exceptional track record for on-time, on-budget, high-quality projects. She spent 12 years at Tektronix, the first six developing internal systems and the final six developing applications software. She subsequently worked 10 years at STEP Technologies, developing and managing a variety of Windows and Internet projects. Gabriel offers clients strong analysis skills for defining requirements, and her excellent technical writing and training skills result in exceptional user and training manuals for her projects.
